    • 9:10-9:55 a.m. Future Focus: Industry Priorities to Drive the Next Gen Mobile Experience

Most CableLabs members are working toward some play in the mobile space and many are already mobile operators, whether as an MNO or MVNO. This session will be focused on members’ plans and requirements for their future networks. Members share how they are looking to transform their own services and discuss their top 1-2 technology-based priorities --- what do they WANT from the ecosystem? What are the critical things that need to happen to achieve their goals? Where do they want/wish the supply chain would focus – and why?

How will the cable industry tackle convergence and differentiate the user experience? Last fall Kyrio announced the Adaptive Route Control (ARC) platform and its first product, ARC Mobile, which was aimed at enabling both members and vendors to rapidly deliver converged Wi-Fi and mobile experience. Join the session to hear about operators’ progress on ARC Mobile trials and get up to date on what we’ve learned on delivering converged experiences at scale. This session will also review how Kyrio is expanding The ARC platform to better enable operators and vendors to leverage the platform and drive new technology products like ARC Gateway and ARC Gateway Hotspot into the residential and business broadband connectivity space. Learn how both operators and vendors can use the ARC platform as a launchpad for introducing converged and differentiated experiences that create benefits to users while also improving architectural and business success.
