Yesterday, NTIA announced the contestants from the Early-Bird applications. “After evaluating the Early-Bird white papers, the 5G Challenge selected Rakuten Mobile USA’s Central Unit (CU) and Distributed Unit (DU) for interoperability testing with the 5G Challenge host lab, CableLabs.”
Congratulations to Rakuten Mobile! And remember, it’s not too late to enter the challenge. Make sure to submit a final white paper by May 5. Apply now!
