On Monday, July 11, Cox Communications kicked off their Smart Stories Event tour, showcasing the latest smart home tech enabled by the cable network. “The event showcased a prototype for a smart home made up of three immersive experiences — health and wellness, security and management, and entertainment — all of which were powered by Cox.” CableLabs’ Debbie Fitzgerald supported this event by demonstrating two light field displays as examples of what is possible in the future over the 10G network.
