Comcast Names First Five DOCSIS 3.1 Markets
Comcast plans to introduce DOCSIS®3.1-based gigabit service to residential and business customers in Atlanta and Nashville in early 2016, with Chicago, Detroit and Miami scheduled to follow in the second half of the year. Read the full article in Broadband Technology Report.
According to ABI Research, DOCSIS 3.1 technology is forecasted to reach nine million subscribers by 2017.
