Interop·Labs CPMP XGS-PON – August 2025

CableLabs^® is hosting an Interop·Labs XGS-PON event from August 4-7, 2025. To ensure interoperable implementations based on CableLabs publications, CableLabs is hosting the interoperability event, with support from Kyrio, to provide suppliers an opportunity to test pre-production and development versions of hardware devices and software implementations. The event will provide a variety of manufacturers an opportunity to work together in the Interop·Labs environment to develop and test interoperable solutions.

The focus of this event is two-fold:

This event provides an opportunity for OLT suppliers to return with their DOCSIS Adaptation Layer (DAL) solutions to once again test ONU and config file interoperability.

In addition, ONU and OLT suppliers, with software implementations compliant to the Cable OpenOMCI I02 specification, are invited to exercise the capabilities defined in that specification.

Event Details:

To attend this event, supplier Participants must be a CableLabs CPMP working group member and complete the online registration form (including the engineers to be present at the event) by close of business on Friday, July 25, 2025. Only those companies that register with specifically designated engineers (on the registration form) will be able to participate.

The lab will be available for set-up Monday, August 4, 2025, at 8:30 am MDT.

The event hours run from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm MDT Monday, August 4 through Thursday, August 7. Attendees are only allowed to be in the CableLabs building during these times (no exceptions).

All participants must register for the in-person event.  Due to limited space in the Interop Lab, suppliers are limited to at most 2 participants per product type. For example, if you are an ONU supplier, you may bring up to 2 participants. If you are an OLT supplier, you may bring up to 2 participants.  If you are participating as both an ONU and OLT supplier, you may bring up to 4 participants.
