Test House
The Test House replicates real home environments and is specifically designed to test the performance of Wi-Fi devices in real-world conditions. In the 5,000-square-foot facility in Brighton, Colorado, our experienced engineering team delineates test plans and procedures, catering  to specific operator needs, and then provides a detailed report with comprehensive analysis once testing is complete.
Lab Equipment and Capabilities
Traffic generators including Ixia and ByteBlower to enable variable gigabit traffic pattern testing
House-made polarization modulators based on phase modulators and Faraday mirrors
Polarization-entangled photon source from OZ Optics
Capability to manage up to 50 Wi-Fi clients with a mix of 802.11ac, n, b, g and ax to test against various construction media and furniture placement
DOCSIS® CMTS to test gateways and modems

CableLabs and it’s subsidiary, Kyrio Inc., offer the facilities and expertise required to test Wi-Fi, Passive Optical Networking (PON) and 4G/5G equipment. It is the first Open Radio Access Network (O-RAN) Open Test and Integration Center in the Americas, used for the testing of interoperable RAN equipment for mobile networks.
In addition, the Testing Services Lab is an authorized certification lab for devices designed to any version of CableLabs DOCSIS technologies and PacketCable™ 1.5.  A device with a “CableLabs Certified” or “CableLabs Qualified” rating has passed a series of compliance tests and has demonstrated interoperable functionality with other CableLabs Certified devices. Developed in cooperation with cable operators and cable equipment manufacturers, this premier certification lab is designed to facilitate the manufacture of interoperable cable devices, including cable modems, set-top boxes, digital TV devices and telephony equipment.
The Testing Services Lab holds ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation from the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA).
