Thomas Nogues, executive advisor for CableLabs, will deliver an Innovator Address titled “The Reliability Revolution: Why Uptime Trumps Bandwidth” at Network X 2026 in Vienna, Austria, taking place October 13–15. His session is scheduled for Wednesday, October 14, at 4:25 p.m. CEST.

The session will examine how consumers are placing growing weight on network reliability over raw speed, a shift that’s reshaping how providers differentiate themselves across access technologies. Nogues will explore how both coax with DOCSIS® 4.0 technology and fiber networks using XGS-PON are increasingly positioned around network resilience as a core value proposition. His talk will cover how providers measure and communicate reliability metrics and use consistent service to build customer loyalty.
