Cable Operators
Cable operator members of CableLabs may join the PeerConnect Registry. Each MSO makes its own decisions in terms of what data to provision and expose to its PeerConnect partners.
- The PeerConnect services allow each cable operator to
- Take control of the routing of IP communications inside the IP domain
- Automate their OSS service provisioning for voice and SMS exchanges
- Distribute service data to MSO partners and select authorized third parties
- Provision once, distribute to many partners
- Connect to the Registry and resolve number translations over IP for many partners
Benefits to cable operators
The PeerConnect services are in production with several MSOs and authorized third-parties.
