CableLabs plays a leading role in developing the specifications and test plans applicable to both Unidirectional Digital Cable Products (UDCPs) and OpenCable™ products. In addition, CableLabs offers Development Support Lab Use, and performs formal certification (OpenCable products), verification (UDCPs) and qualification (CableCARD™) testing.
